The Challenge

Every day, university cafeterias, hospital kitchens, and food-service businesses decide how much food to prepare. Prepare too much, and food gets thrown away. Prepare too little, and customers miss out.

The solution

Evidara predicts tomorrow's demand and recommends exactly what a kitchen should prepare, when to reduce production, and when to offer surplus food before it becomes waste. Unlike a simple food-waste tracker, Evidara aims to intervene before food is wasted. It combines historical sales, menus, day of the week, weather, campus schedules, and previous leftovers to generate actionable recommendations. It also tracks whether those recommendations actually reduce waste. The innovation is a continuous learning loop: predict → recommend → measure → improve.
