By investigating ways to recognise potential early warning signs and connect people in need with nearby CPR-trained volunteers, Local Hero hopes to reduce the time between a cardiac emergency and the arrival of life-saving assistance. The ultimate goal is to make emergency response faster, more accessible, and more effective by combining technological innovation with the power of people helping people.

The Challenge
