The Mission

Our goal is to make leaving your jacket somewhere carefree. We want to eliminate the stress of leaving your coat on a dark chair or the annoyance of waiting in line to pay for an overpriced locker. By creating a personal locking device, we are taking the hassle away from both the venue and the visitor. We want NOX to become a standard item you grab before heading out the door, right next to your phone and wallet.

The Challenge

If you go to a bar, a student party, or a gym without a paid locker system, you just have to drop your coat on a rack and hope for the best. Jacket theft is a massive and expensive problem. On the flip side, venues that do have lockers often charge high fees, and the lines at the end of the night are a disaster. People are tired of paying repeatedly just to put a jacket away, but they also do not want to lose their belongings.

The solution

NOX is a personal, mechanical lock that is roughly the size of an AirPods case. You carry it in your pocket. It has a tough ratchet strap that clamps securely around any coat rack or metal pipe. A retractable steel cable pulls out from the bottom, goes right through your jacket sleeve, and clicks back into the device. You lock and unlock the entire system with a single 3-digit combination wheel. It is simple, fast, and needs no keys or batteries.
