The Mission

Our mission is to challenge the traditional view of career experience and help individuals with unconventional backgrounds (e.g. interdisciplinary careers, creatives, or early career students without formal experience) be recognized for their unique skills and potential. We believe that talent extends beyond formal internships and job titles, and recognizing skills gained through diverse experiences can uncover talented individuals who might otherwise be overlooked by the workforce.

The Challenge

Nowadays as technology rapidly transforms the job market, new roles emerge or existing ones evolve, and the skills employers seek are constantly changing. Yet, traditional CVs remain largely built around linear career paths. This makes it increasingly difficult for students, freelancers and interdisciplinary individuals to communicate the value in their diverse experiences and transferable skills, even when these make them highly adaptable to changing industry demands. The problem is that traditional CV making guides / tools fail to reflect the evolving nature of the job market and often overlook the skills and experiences of those who fall outside unconventional career paths.

The solution

The proposed solution is Omnia CV, a skill-based CV-building platform that helps individuals identify and showcase their experience and skills in their CVs in a way that both adheres to the industry standards, but also recognizes potential beyond conventional career experience.
