The Mission

Our mission is to make political information accessible, understandable and engaging for young people. We aim to create a digital platform combining a website and social media channels that explain political parties’ proposals, summarize recent political developments and provide context on the issues shaping our country and Europe. By presenting information in a clear, balanced and easy-to-digest format, we want to encourage young people to look beyond the political opinions they have grown up with, explore different perspectives and develop their own informed views. Our goal is to make following politics a natural part of everyday life, helping build a more informed, independent and actively engaged generation of citizens.

The Challenge

Many young people struggle to access clear, reliable and easy-to-understand political information. Political news can be complex, fragmented or presented in highly polarized ways, while social media algorithms often expose users to content that reinforces their existing views. As a result, some young people may rely heavily on the political opinions they encounter at home or within their social circles, without having the tools or motivation to explore different perspectives independently. There is a need for an accessible and engaging way to understand current events, compare political proposals and develop informed opinions based on facts rather than assumptions or misinformation.

The solution

We will develop a digital platform combining a website and social media profiles to make political information accessible and engaging for young people. Through short videos, visual summaries, accessible explanations and regular updates, we will cover recent political events, explain their context and present the main proposals of different political parties in a clear and balanced way. We will provide sources for our information, distinguish facts from opinions and make different perspectives easy to compare. By delivering reliable information through the platforms young people already use every day, we aim to encourage critical thinking, reduce dependence on one-sided narratives and help young people form their own opinions on political issues.
