The Mission

A company’s information and knowledge are scattered - prices and orders in the ERP, agreements in email, specifications in shared folders, and much of the rest in people’s heads. Large companies pay for enterprise search, process-mining tools and automation teams to make sense of all this. Small and mid-sized companies have none of that, and many cannot or will not send their confidential data to US cloud AI solutions to get it. Libro24 builds a private AI knowledge layer for SMEs with 20–250 staff, mainly starting with Benelux goods manufacturers and distributors. It connects to the systems a company already uses, such as the ERP, email, shared files and CRM. Staff can ask it questions in plain language and get answers with sources. Because the AI sees how quotes, orders and invoices actually flow through those systems, it can also show where work gets stuck. It then takes over the slowest steps, with a person approving every outgoing document and every change to the ERP. Our goal is that by 2031 around 50 Benelux companies use Libro24 every day. Their staff should find information in seconds instead of searching, and each company should save measurable hours and resources on office work every week.

The Challenge

SMEs lose a large share of their office time to things like looking for information or retyping it from one place to another. In a typical 50-person manufacturer or distributor, quote requests, orders and supplier confirmations also arrive by email as PDFs and spreadsheets, and staff copy them into the ERP by hand. Nobody knows exactly where the time goes, because this work happens in inboxes and Excel rather than in systems that keep a record. Things that make this problem urgent and still unsolved: - Staff shortages: almost two-thirds of Dutch firms are short of staff. (CBS, April 2026). Yet only about 30% of firms with 10-250 staff use any AI (CBS, 2025), and across the EU lack of expertise is the most-cited reason for not using it (Eurostat, 2025). - Tools that are not the exact fit: general assistants such as Copilot or ChatGPT answer questions but do not have enough context to understand and improve a company’s processes. Process-mining and enterprise-search tools are built and priced for large companies. Automation tools assume you already know what to automate. - Data control and privacy: nearly a third of Dutch SMEs worry that staff paste confidential information into AI tools, and only 9% have an AI policy (ABN AMRO, 2026).

The solution

Libro24 is a private AI knowledge layer that sits on top of the systems an SME already has, and improves their processes in three steps: Know, Find, Fix. 1. Know. Read-only connectors link the ERP (Exact, AFAS, Business Central and others), email, shared files and CRM. Staff ask questions in plain language, such as “What did we agree with this customer about delivery, and where is the signed quote?”, and get answers with sources. Each person only sees what they are already allowed to see. 2. Find. Because the layer sees how quotes, orders and invoices move through these systems, it rebuilds the real process and shows where time is lost. Each client gets a fixed-price Process X-ray: hours lost per step, and a ranked list of what to automate. 3. Fix. AI agents take over the slowest steps, for example reading quote requests, entering orders, matching invoices or compiling documentation packs. They run as fixed, tested workflows, a person approves anything that leaves the company or changes the ERP, and every action is logged. Everything runs on EU-hosted servers or on the local server in the client’s building with open AI models. Staff data is pseudonymised and analysis reports on processes, never on individual people. Clients start with the custom-made knowledge assistant, which improves office processes within weeks after setting it up. Every new client makes the connectors and workflow templates more reusable, so the service grows into a product that partners such as IT service providers can resell.
