The Mission

EVEPA’s mission is to combat boredom and social isolation by making real-world social connection easier, more accessible, and more intentional. For many people, building a new social circle becomes significantly harder after major life changes such as graduating, relocating to a new city, starting a new job, or working remotely. In these situations, meeting new friends often depends on chance encounters, existing connections, or simply being in the right place at the right time. Even when someone wants to meet new people or try a new activity, it can be difficult to know where to go, who is available, or how to find others with similar interests. EVEPA aims to remove that uncertainty by providing a platform where people can easily discover, join, and host social activities in their local area. These activities can range from sports such as padel, football, and badminton to board game nights, study sessions, hobby groups, networking events, and casual meet-ups. By reducing the friction between wanting to socialize and actually meeting people, EVEPA helps users form meaningful relationships through shared experiences. Our broader mission is to use technology as a tool for real-world connection, encouraging people to spend less time passively scrolling and more time being active, exploring their interests, meeting others, and creating memorable experiences.

The Challenge

Meeting new people and building meaningful relationships has become difficult. Someone who wants to organize a padel game, board game night, study session, or casual meet-up may still struggle to quickly reach nearby people who share the same interests and are available at the right time. This creates an opportunity for a platform designed around making smaller, community-driven social activities easier to create, discover, and join. We believe that creating meaningful social connections should be as easy as deciding what you want to do.
