The Mission
Ques exists to give parents of neurodivergent children their lives back. Not by replacing parental intuition, but by giving parents a reliable signal — so they can relax, work, live, and still be there when it matters most.
The Challenge
Parents of neurodivergent children live in a permanent state of alertness — watching, waiting, anticipating — because they feel solely responsible for preventing their child's emotional escalations. Many reduce their working hours or leave the workforce entirely, not by choice, but because staying alert feels like the only way to protect their child. The core problem is not the meltdown itself. It's the invisible, exhausting labour of trying to prevent it: manually, continuously, and alone.
The solution
Ques is a wearable device paired with a mobile app that monitors a child's physiological signals — including heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) — in real time. These biosignals change measurably in the body long before an emotional escalation becomes visible in behaviour. When Ques detects an early pattern of escalation, it alerts the parent or caregiver immediately — giving them time to adjust the environment, reduce the trigger, or offer support before a meltdown unfolds. No constant observation required. No guesswork. Just a timely signal, and the space to respond calmly. Over time, Ques learns the unique physiological patterns of each child, making the alerts increasingly personalised and accurate.
