The Mission

FormForward's mission is to make sustainability data frictionless for European supply chains. We believe the transition to a sustainable economy requires reliable, verifiable data about environmental impact to move easily from the companies who generate it to the stakeholders who need it. Currently, movement is broken by an endless stream of incompatible questionnaires, duplicated effort, and fragmented data standards. Small / mid-size manufacturers bear the heaviest cost of this friction: they receive dozens of sustainability information requests per year in different formats, answer each one manually, and often lose potential business opportunities because they can't keep up. We are building the infrastructure to fix this. Our first product helps SMEs answer any sustainability questionnaire in minutes instead of weeks by maintaining a master profile of their company data and auto-generating correctly-formatted responses for various frameworks. Our longer-term mission is to become the shared data layer between suppliers and buyers across Europe so that verified environmental data flows as easily as payment data does today.

The Challenge

Mid-size European manufacturers can receive 20 to 50 sustainability questionnaires per year from customers, banks, insurers, and tender committees. Each asks nearly the same questions in a different structure. For example, a single EcoVadis response takes a small company 40 to 80 hours. The work is repetitive, the data is scattered across different departments, and the stakes of losing contracts is high. While CSRD requirements layed out by EU directives may not be the core issue, the demand for this data from large customers has not dropped, it has intensified.

The solution

FormForward is a web application that lets a manufacturer answer their sustainability data once (in a structured master profile) and then automatically generates correctly-formatted, complete responses for any incoming questionnaire. The user pastes in a PDF or web form from a customer; our system maps each question to their master profile, drafts the response in the required format and tone, flags gaps, and returns a submission-ready file in minutes instead of weeks.
