The Mission

HARDRADA is a defence technology intelligence platform that gives defence organisations a clear, evidence-based picture of the global technology landscape. We collect and analyse data from patent filings, R&D trends, and commercial innovation to map which technologies exist, who is developing them, and how they relate to specific military capability needs. The system identifies what humans miss at scale: clusters of emerging technology, gaps in national R&D portfolios, commercially available solutions that could replace expensive bespoke development, and dual-use technologies with untapped defence applications. The goal is to change how defence procurement and modernisation decisions are made.
