The Mission

Our idea is built on a dual vision: on the one hand, we develop clothing that makes getting dressed easier for people with physical limitations through innovative and inclusive design. At the same time, we aim to support people in dressing themselves independently for as long as possible, preserving autonomy and self-confidence. These two aspects (practical assistance and the preservation of independence) are at the heart of our designs. We combine functionality with aesthetics, because fashion is more than clothing; it is also personality and dignity. Everyone should have the opportunity to wear what they want, without restrictions or compromise. Our motto captures this belief: fashion that fits and dignity that lasts.

The Challenge

Millions of people with reduced mobility struggle with something as seemingly basic as getting dressed. Conventional clothing is designed for fully mobile bodies, which makes everyday tasks like closing buttons, pulling up trousers or putting on a jacket difficult or even impossible. Existing adaptive clothing often looks medical, stigmatizing, and far from what people actually want to wear. As a result, many affected individuals lose independence, rely heavily on caregivers, and feel less confident or even unwilling to leave the house. This reveals a clear gap between functional need and fashionable, dignified options.

The solution

moune develops adaptive, functional and modern clothing that looks like everyday fashion but is engineered for people with physical limitations. We integrate features such as easier openings, alternative fastenings and seated-friendly cuts in a way that remains discreet and stylish. Our designs are created together with users and healthcare professionals to ensure they truly meet real-life needs, reduce caregiver burden and extend the time people can dress themselves. In this way, moune offers a scalable clothing line that restores both practicality and a sense of dignity.
