Paros is a digital platform (app and web-based) that connects people in the same community by allowing them to offer, share, or rent skills, hobbies, services, and goods. It’s designed to strengthen local relationships and reduce reliance on distant corporations. Core Features: • Users register and list their skills, hobbies, services, or goods they are willing to share or rent. • Profiles can include availability, location, experience level, and ratings. • Users can browse available offerings nearby, filtered by category, distance, or type (service, skill, or goods). • Transparent review and rating system to encourage reliability and trust. • Ability to create interest groups (e.g., gardening, baking, carpentry) to foster shared learning and interaction. • Messaging system within the app to maintain privacy and clarity. • “Community Hero” recognition for users who actively contribute. • Encourages circular economy by reducing unnecessary purchases through sharing and renting locally.
