Mission Short
Achieving better health starts with the ability to produce what we consume.
The Challenge
The problem I address is the growing disconnection between people and the sources of their food. My holistic approach focuses on producing what I consume, promoting self sufficiency, sustainability, and overall well being.
The solution
Our solution focuses on using worms not just for compost, but as a tool to improve micronutrient availability and soil fertility in educational settings. Healthy worms lead to healthy, mineral-rich soils, which also contribute to our micronutrient intake. We plan to implement this in schools and campus gardens, especially where educational programs are provided. Students not only learn theory but actively implement practices, connecting ideas to tangible results. This holistic approach aims to foster environmental awareness, improve student nutrition knowledge, and promote sustainable behaviors, empowering students to become dreamers who turn bold ideas into action.
