The Mission

At FreshX Technology, our mission is to empower consumers and small businesses to make confident, data driven decisions about food freshness. We aim to reduce global food waste and improve food safety through an accessible, affordable, and science based approach to freshness assessment. We have developed a compact, ergonomic device that fits comfortably in the hand and can be taken straight from the kitchen drawer to measure the freshness of meat or fish within just 30 seconds. The product is designed to combine intuitive use with scientifically reliable results, bringing laboratory level confidence directly to the consumer. While we are currently in an advanced prototype phase and preparing to file patents, our focus begins with the B2C version. In parallel, we are developing a B2B solution, the first device in the world capable of non contact freshness evaluation through packaging, representing a breakthrough in the field and what we call the “holy grail” of food quality control. By combining precision engineering, sustainability, and user centric design, FreshX Technology strives to make freshness detection as natural and universal as temperature measurement, setting a new global standard for transparency and trust in food quality.

The Challenge

Today, consumers and businesses have no reliable way to objectively determine whether food is still fresh or safe to eat. Judging by smell, color, or expiration dates is subjective and often inaccurate, leading to unnecessary food waste, health risks, and loss of trust in food quality. Globally, more than one-third of all food is wasted each year, with a large share discarded prematurely due to uncertainty about freshness. At the same time, small retailers and producers lack affordable tools for quality assurance outside of laboratory settings. FreshX Technology addresses this gap by making freshness measurement fast, affordable, and accessible, enabling data driven decisions that reduce waste, improve safety, and promote sustainability.

The solution

FreshX Technology provides an intuitive, handheld device that allows consumers to determine the freshness of meat and fish in less than 30 seconds, directly at home or in small kitchens. The device translates complex scientific measurements into a simple, clear result that anyone can understand. Our solution bridges cutting edge sensor innovation, AI-driven data evaluation, and user centered design to deliver laboratory level accuracy in a consumer friendly format. We are currently finalizing our B2C prototype and preparing patent filings. In parallel, we are developing a B2B version for retail and food production environments, capable of non contact freshness evaluation through packaging within just a few seconds, representing a world first innovation in food quality control.
