Mission Short
Prevent burnout and lift performance by pairing private, on-demand 20-minute 1:1 support with a gamified weekly habit system that improves sleep, movement, and mood—cutting presenteeism and absence without exposing individual data.
The Challenge
1) Burnout creates avoidable costs—people work while unwell (presenteeism), take more sick days (absenteeism), and leave—because help typically arrives only after a crisis. 2) Traditional EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs) and content apps see low ongoing use; they offer hotlines or libraries, not week-by-week behavior change. 3) Motivation fades without feedback—there are no immediate rewards for healthy sleep/movement/mood, and progress isn’t visible, so habits don’t stick. 4) Home stress spills into work, yet most benefits exclude the household; partners/kids strongly influence sleep, routines, and mood.
The solution
What it is: A prevention program that combines on-demand 20-minute 1:1 sessions with a gamified habit app focused on sleep, movement, and mood. How it works: Each week employees do a 30-second mood check-in and can sync sleep/activity from their phone or watch. If signals dip (e.g., two low weeks or irregular sleep), the app recommends a relevant 20-minute session with a psychologist, mindfulness, or lifestyle coach, usually within 48 hours. Every session ends with one small action for the coming week. Motivation: Points, streaks, and tiers reward check-ins and goals; anonymous team challenges add friendly momentum; up to 3 family members can join; optional cashback (administered by us) can be added. Privacy & reporting: No individual data is shared with employers. They see anonymized cohort trends (adoption, check-in rate, sleep-regularity share, sessions per user, time-to-session) and aggregate cost proxies—enough to track impact without exposing anyone. Employer value: Fewer days worked while unwell (presenteeism down), fewer sick days (absenteeism down), better performance and wellbeing, with clear targets and quarterly reports.
