The Mission
Rivo is building an affordable, universal engine information display that brings modern digital dashboards to any car, motorcycle, or small fleet. Our goal is to give drivers clear real-time information, customizable layouts, and proactive fault warnings — all in a simple, plug-and-play device. After validating our first prototype, we are now moving into a more scalable Version 2 that uses dedicated hardware for smoother performance, lower production cost, and a more polished user experience. This direction allows us to target a €100–€300 retail range while offering a level of customization and compatibility not seen in current market alternatives. Our next phase also focuses on sustainability, aiming for low-energy operation and the use of recyclable materials as we continue scaling the product.
The Challenge
Current engine displays are overpriced, brand-locked, or too technical. Older vehicles, motorcycles, and small fleets lack affordable, universal dashboards for preventive monitoring. Even in modern cars, important engine information is often only shown when a major issue has already occurred. Drivers typically receive late warnings and have to rely on deep menus to check data proactively. This makes it hard to catch small problems early, leading to avoidable damage and higher repair costs. Drivers want clear, real-time information and simple customization — without paying premium prices.
The solution
Rivo offers a universal, plug-and-play engine display with a modern, customizable interface that works in any OBD-II vehicle. Drivers can personalize their dashboard, receive clear real-time data, and catch issues early — all without complex installation or brand-specific hardware. We validated our concept using an early prototype and are now developing Version 2 using dedicated hardware. This next version delivers smoother performance, lower cost, and an automotive-grade experience suitable for everyday drivers, enthusiasts, and small fleets. With a validated prototype, a clear roadmap for Version 2, and the technical experience to execute it, our team is ready to enter the next development phase and bring Rivo to a wider market.
