Mission Short

Make real-time engine data and actionable alerts affordable, universal, and plug-and-play for every vehicle—so drivers and small fleets prevent avoidable breakdowns, not just react to them.

The Challenge

Current engine displays are overpriced (often €500+), brand-locked, or too technical; older/motorcycle/modified vehicles and small fleets lack affordable, readable, universal dashboards for preventative monitoring. Result: blind driving, late detection of faults/overheats, and avoidable costs/downtime. Users want plug-and-play, real-time data, and simple customization—without paying premium, brand-specific prices.

The solution

A universal, plug-and-play engine display: Hardware: Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W + compact touchscreen + OBD-II (ELM327) + 12V→5V buck, in a 3D-printed casing. Software: PC/Tkinter layout editor writes JSON; the Pi reads it and renders gauges/alerts; supports offline “canned data” demo and fault simulations (planned). Value: Clear, reliable visuals; quick install; modular upgrades (diagnostics, data export); sustainable materials and packaging. Price/Feasibility: Prototype BOM €40–€75; target retail €100–€300.
