The Mission
Money-Ability Moms aims to help women, particularly mothers, who have taken a career break due to family responsibilities, by providing them with practical training in key skills such as effective presentation techniques, online marketing strategies, and strong oral communication abilities. This comprehensive skill-building program is designed to increase their confidence and employability, while also opening up entrepreneurial opportunities. By utilizing modern digital tools and platforms, the program enables these women to enter global markets, with a focus on both European and Asian regions, thus fostering their financial independence and career growth. Additionally, the project collaborates with the Taipei City Self-Media Association and Sun-Prance Media Company, leveraging their expertise to provide tailored marketing strategies and media exposure. Through this initiative, we also aim to create a supportive community that nurtures these women’s personal and professional development, helping them balance family life with career aspirations.
The Challenge
The problem we are addressing is that many women, particularly mothers, who have paused their careers to take care of their families, face challenges when trying to re-enter the workforce. These challenges include a mismatch of skills, lack of work experience, and insufficient market opportunities. Furthermore, they are often limited by traditional employment models that make it difficult for them to balance family responsibilities with career development, hindering their ability to achieve financial independence and career growth.
The solution
Our proposed solution is the "Money-Ability Moms" program, which offers training in key skills such as presentation techniques, online marketing, and oral communication to help these women enhance the core skills needed in modern workplaces. Our curriculum not only covers traditional job-related training but also incorporates digital tools and social media platforms for online marketing and brand promotion, enabling women to find opportunities in global markets. The program also collaborates with the Taipei City Self-Media Association and Sun-Prance Media Company to provide professional media marketing support and exposure, helping participants successfully enter and expand into both European and Asian markets.
