The Mission

I would like to design a VR/AR cooking assistant application for compatible android devices that allows a user to overlay windows over their reality in order to help with a basic yet necessary task: cooking. Being able to handle timers, guides, and videos whilst also interacting with an AI assistant will provide the user with an optimal and refined cooking experience. The use of simple hand gestures and accessible hardware, cooking is easier to follow for beginners and alot more experimental for those with an edge in cuisine. Future features could include but are not limited to: Co-op cooking game modes and missions, automatic shopping list implementation, AI feedback based on actions and environment.

The solution

Designing an application that uses an XR compatible devices like smart glasses or AR headset ( Google & Meta devices ) and it's cameras in order to overlay items such as: timers, recipes, cooking guides, etc. whilst also providing an interface to talk with an AI assistant. Possible future implementations: Access device cameras in order to allow the AI to design recipes based on items/quantity available, provide the user with feedback
