The Mission

We believe that the trustworthiness and strength of science is rooted in the ability of scientific communities to critically reassess their findings and beliefs and constantly update them in the light of new evidence. Our mission is to enhance the quality of research by providing an open platform where papers can be critically reviewed, discussed, and evaluated. By fostering a culture of continuous peer review, we aim to strengthen trust in scientific research and provide a valuable tool for researchers, students, and policymakers alike.

The Challenge

Despite undergoing peer review, scientific papers often still contain minor or even major flaws that go unreported due to the lack of a straightforward mechanism for post-publication critique. Furthermore, the findings and interpretations presented in papers can become outdated as new evidence emerges. There is currently no straightforward way to easily report such flaws. Furthermore, navigating the vast and ever-growing body of literature—often shaped by publication bias and an emphasis on quantity over quality—makes it increasingly difficult for researchers to identify the most reliable and current insights within a field.

The solution

The platform will serve as a comprehensive, community-driven hub where users can: - Review and discuss scientific papers in an open and structured manner. - Search for articles based on their popularity - Flagging papers that have potential flaws and describing the issue, making scientific literature more reliable. - Connect with other people investigating the same topics - See the activity of accounts that they follow -> what they have read, liked and commented. Additionally, the user profile contains an archive where one can see all the papers rated by them. This “social media” aspect of the platform would create additional incentive for users to actively engage with the platform besides being able to easily find relevant papers and understand which papers might be outdated.
